News: We have recorded our side of the split, now we have to re-mix it. Shouldn't be too much longer. 12 songs. Look for a mid-west tour in August with Nagoya's NICE VIEW! We will finally record our split with Capitalist Casualties in March. Look for it a few months later. This site hasn't been updated in ages..... an actual new song was released on an amazing comp EP called "All Punks Spending Drunk Night" released by Backwoods Butcher and friends. In the future expect a split LP/CD with Capitalist Casualties. We talked about doing this since our tour together in 1998, so maybe before 10 years later it will be out. More info will get added to this web site in time. You can't rush greatness.

Mini-History / Discography: Hellnation started in November 1988 by two bored kids (Ken & Lou) wanting to play music like all the great stuff coming out of England and Japan at the time. By early 1989 the line-up was filled out and and by the end of 1989 our first recording was done. It was everyone's first band and we were failing miserably at sounding like we wanted to. We played our first gig at the Top Hat in Newport KY in 1989 opening for Dayton's Haunting Souls. Since then we have toured the U.S., Japan, Brazil, and Europe. The discography pretty much fills in the history of the releases. Around 1993/94 we needed a drummer and couldn't find one so Al said fuck it and switched from bass/vocals to drums & vocals. The current line-up is: Al drums/vocals, Ken guitar, Doug bass.
