Send me free stuff?
No!
Send me free stuff for my radio show/magazine/web site to review?
Sound Pollution can't afford to mail out promos to everyone that asks for them. If you want to possibly get promos send a copy of your zine or radio playlist.
I feel entitled to get everything I want, so send me free stuff?
Suck it.
Can you hold records for me?
No, as you can imagine a lot of folks flake out. Exceptions made for the regulars of course.
Call me/email me when you get my order?
No.
What is the address to the Hellnation web site?
There isn't one, maybe someday.... hell has frozen over.
Can I send you my credit card information or call it in?
paypal.com is the only way to order by credit card.
I'm a know nothing know it all and like to tell everyone what I think, aren't I punk?
No, your boring.
Can I send you my band's promo pack, and where do I send it?
Have you ever heard anything on Sound Pollution? If your into the label you'd probably have a release with the address on it, or at least you can find the address on the web site. Maybe I'm missing something but I get asked this a lot. I love hearing new bands, but I don't love emails telling how your the manager of some great band and want to send me some demo with 8x10's showing me how tough, chessy, and or stupid the band is. Actually do send the 8x10's as they are pretty funny.
Do you want to trade records?
99% of the time no... but, if you released a band that seems like something I would be into, and someone other than four gore grind fans in Mongolia have heard of maybe.
Is Amebix the most overrated band you ever heard?
Yes, I'm not sure who stinks worse, the band or their fans.
Why don't you have a message board?
Message boards are filled with faceless bullshit gossip/stupidity from idiots hiding behind some cheesy ass "online name".
Why is it that so many foreign bands rock a thousand times harder than U.S. bands, yet U.S. bands that are mediocre at best are all the rage?
Good question.
Where can I buy digital downloads of Sound Polluton releases?
Nowhere. If you want to be cool to the label and the bands just buy the CD yourself and rip it.
